Sandpaper Tracing Numbers

Writing requires 3 skills – holding a pencil, colouring (strokes) and knowing the shape of the number. Sandpaper numbers help the child analyse and practice the shape of the number in multiple ways – Sensorially (rough), Visually (seeing the number), muscularly (moving the fingers over the number), audio (saying the sound of the number). This multiple reinforcement is the best way to get the child to learn the right shape of the number and its corresponding name. This set comprises 10 cards, pasted with the number shapes 0 to 9. Each card has pasted on its right side the number. There is a space on the left side for the child to hold the card. The cards are stored in a wooden box. This is an excellent way to ensure the child develops good writing skills and associates the number shape to the number name.
