Shape Sorter Box

A ship shaped box with openings cut on top which are differently cut in the shapes of square, trapezium, circle etc. The set includes 2 each of 6 geometrical solid shapes which have to be inserted into these holes. The child has to put the 3D shapes into the hut through one of the 2D holes on top. Once all the shapes are in, the child can open the roof, and take them all out. Children play with this toy for long periods of time as they find it fascinating to match the shapes correctly in the lid. The toy is self correcting as each shape goes only into its corresponding slot and not in any other slot in the lid. Also, the shapes are all in the same colour, so the child does not have colour as a cue to match the shapes. They would need to use only the shape of the object to match the slots on the lid.
